akt is a queer-led event series and agency based in Cologne, founded in 2023 to create more space, visibility and opportunities for FLINTA* and queer people in electronic music and nightlife. What started as a party series has since grown into a community of over 5,000 people and an agency representing 11 artists.

On the event side, we curate lineups with a strong focus on FLINTA* and queer talent, work with like-minded collectives and develop safer-space and awareness concepts that make nightlife feel more accessible and inclusive. On the agency side, we promote FLINTA* and queer artists beyond our own dancefloors, connect them with the right opportunities and help them claim the space in the industry they deserve.

For us, nightlife is not only about who is playing, but about who gets access to spaces, who feels represented in them and who gets the opportunity to shake their a$$ freely and grow within the industry. With akt, we want to build structures that support queer and FLINTA* artists beyond individual club nights. From their first bookings and artistic development to long-term representation and new collaborations.
